EU Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

The Procurement Manager is responsible for strategic regional procurement, as well as supplier management of raw materials and indirect materials required to support Albemarles lithium production operations in Germany. The position holder primarily works closely with the site management and the global supply chain team with the aim of defining and implementing a procurement strategy for local and globally used direct and indirect materials. The Procurement Manager has one direct report supporting indirect material procurement. The position holder is responsible for the following tasks Define, optimize and implement procurement and raw material supply strategies for our production facility in Langelsheim Ensure long-term raw material supply strategies at optimal quality, cost and risk profiles, according to forecast production needs, using responsible procurement and supplier management processes (e.g. procurement planning, tenders, negotiations, e-procurement, strategic collaboration) Work with product management, product development and production to identify, qualify and secure raw materials in a timely manner and review current material specifications and supplies while
