Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs and Public Policy, EU

The Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs and Public Policy is a Dangerous Goods (DG) subject matter expert (SME) responsible for planning, coordinating and engaging with regulatory bodies and industry to influence DG regulations. This role leverages partnerships within North America (NA) and WW (worldwide) to improve, enhance, and innovate DG transport through the use of technology and data, using safety as the key driver to reduce the risk. In addition, this role works crossfunctionally to transform internal Amazon processes through the use of continuous improvement and lessons learned to advance DG Operations (DG Ops), classification, training, selling partner education and outreach, and partnership with each of our carriers. Working in close coordination with the DG Ops and Amazon Classification teams, this role will assist in gaining additional operational efficiencies, including supporting business expansion/growth, through regulatory and strategic engagement with each of the regulatory bodies who oversee Amazon Fulfillment Network (AFN) and other businesses under the Amazon corporate umbrella.
