Account Manager Catalysts (m/f/d)

RESPONSIBILITIES Our unit Custom Catalysts 3rd party offers flexible development arrangements and toll manufacturing of catalysts. * In your new role, you manage and grow customer interactions with special focus on precious metal (PM) catalysts in the areas of custom business model and market catalysts sales. * You provide sales forecasts as well as negotiate and close contracts with price authority above business management / marketing defined limit prices (customer advocate face of BASF). * Furthermore, you lead and coordinate new projects which includes the initial contact, technical optimization and scale-up, up to commercial and legal negotiations and the closing of profitable deals. * You identify and specify customer needs as well as new leads through customer interaction and coordinate lead qualification. * Additionally, you coordinate the process of turning leads in opportunities, put together the business case for solution scenarios and present solutions to the customer. * You will seek new business opportunities, business partners and customers and manage existing business
