Physicist, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer (m/f/x) Design, implementation and characterization of high-precision laser optical experiments

You will design quantum optical instruments, in particular optical clocks and laser interferometers, and implement them in the laboratory. You characterize these setups and document the tests. You will support our team in the implementation of an iodine-based frequency reference for use on the ISS. You will work on the compactification/​miniaturization of quantum optical clocks and support the further development with regard to commercial implementation.
