Lead and build a team that manages certifications, customer audits, and controls and drives governance, risk and compliance within the R&D department and across the organization. Driving project management for gap analysis, customer audits, existing and new certifications. Tracking and monitoring by utilizing project management tools, reporting on progress, and identifying areas for improvement. Improving and documenting the workflows and processes for the certification and audit team. Planning meetings and interviews with internal and external auditors to get the right subject matter experts/stakeholders into this process.
