EMEA Government Compliance Finance Manager – EU & Government funding

Eaton is looking a EMEA Government Compliance Finance Manager – EU & Government funding Location:Eaton Bonn/Germany Primary function: The EMEA Government Compliance Manager will serve as Eaton European Innovation Center's (EEIC) and other Eaton European R&D entities government financial and contract compliance subject matter expert. This role's primary responsibility is ensuring compliance with European public funding and contract requirements. It is also responsible for reviewing proposals for research and development projects, cost reporting submissions, and labor time reporting records, project budget utilization, and prototype accounting. This role will also advise key stakeholders on the advanced application of accounting principles, manage relationships with consortium partners, coordinate with external government auditors, and manage legal entity registrations for European Union projects. The ideal candidate must have a very strong understanding of financial compliance preferably (EMEA funded grants, budget management, and EU Competition Law).
