NDT Engineering Lead (m/f/d)

The Engineering Manager – Prüftechnik Nondestructive testing, is responsible for leading the crossfunctional engineering team to support the development and delivery of the industryleading NDT solution. On a typical day, the individual will split their time between guiding technical decisionmaking on product design, consulting, and coaching on industry best practices for the delivery of software/hardware, and engaging in 1-1 mentoring and development with their team members. While they are technically credible and know the details of what engineers work on, they own the delivery of their product's commitments and actively support performance improvements and career growth opportunities for their direct reports. They adapt departmental plans and priorities to meet shortterm goals and operational challenges. This individual will report directly to the Senior Engineering Manager. Your Team The engineering lead will work in a team of around 10 individuals, direct employees, and contractors, where the majority is based in Ismaning, Germany (broader Munich area). The skillset ranges from Software, Hardware, Project coordination and Technical documentation.
