Your Tasks Molecular biological preparation of expression vectors and transfection of eukaryotic cell lines Detection of reactive oxygen species and cysteine-oxidized proteins during cell adhesion by ELISA and immunofluorescence Protein chemical modifications of cell-adhesion molecules Cell adhesion and migration studies Life cell imaging of transfected cells What we expect: We expect a motivated person with skills in molecular biology and cell biology. The candidate should be willing to learn new methods and technologies. The project focuses on redox regulation of integrins. With a recombinant integrin, we aim to study the redox-relevant conformational changes of the integrin, also with optogenetic methods.
